'The Quantum 600 proved excellent. In the igloo the coldest temperature was -10C and I was warm in the Quantum 600, never needing to sleep in any more than a base layer and boxers. I had my old Survival Zone bag (dating from 1995) but didn't need to use it as the igloo was pretty dry with humidity levels around 85%.'
Chris Townsend, ski touring in Yellowstone National Park, January '07.
Quantum
Topbag - “Used by every top mountain marathon competitor,
this was our chosen sleeping bag when winning the elite course on
the Original Mountain Marathon in 2006. The box wall construction
eliminates cold spots, making it far warmer than a similar lightweight
stitch through bag with down all around.”

Quantum
400 – “It’s well known that Quantum bags offer
the best warmth to weight ratio of any sleeping bags in the world.
No one else offers lightweight construction filled with such high
quality down. I always use the quantum 400 for climbing in Peru,
as it’s perfect for lightweight multiday ascents.”

Quantum
600 – “Quantum bags are so much warmer than any other
lightweight bags around, such that I’ve happily used the 600
for skiing in Greenland and climbing 6000m peaks in the Himalaya.
On both trips it performed brilliantly and it didn’t weight
me down either.”
