Rob Franklin - world balloon altitude record attempt.

In the next 18 months Rob Franklin will attempt to achieve a new altitude record for a 77000 cubic foot balloon, by reaching 12200m (40000ft). At this height temperatures of -70°C and an oxygen level insufficient to support life create an extreme environment demanding the development of specialist clothing and equipment.
Rob will wear a RAB one piece Expedition Down Suit for his attempt.
